Q1Can I bring my luggage on the bus?
As there is no room for luggage on the bus, please store all luggage at the airport baggage service counter (fee required) before boarding the bus.
Q2Can I leave the group halfway through the guided tour and not go back to the airport with the group?
Yes, you can. Please note you can only leave the group at the last stop of the guided tour. If you are not going back to the airport with the group, please have your tour guide informed in advance and sign the tour waiver.
Q3Where can I exchange the foreign currency?
There are several banks open prior 8 a.m., some even 24 hours a day in Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport. Q4Are there any charges for the guided and self-guided tours?
The guided and self-guided tours are totally free, and you don’t have to pay any fees for the tour or for leaving and entering the airport. Passengers who join the guided and self-guided tours are also exempt from airport tax. However, the air fare you paid may vary depending on different conditions the airline provided, and we cannot make sure if you would be asked for additional fees by the airline. Please check with your airline or travel agent.
Q5Do I need to claim my checked luggage before or after the guided and self-guided tour?
Transfer or transit passengers will not have to claim their checked luggage after arrival in Taiwan, since it will be shipped through to your final destination. Therefore, if you have a valid R.O.C. visa or come from a country eligible for visa-exempt entry and your passport is valid for at least six months, you can go through the Immigration and Customs successfully without your luggage, and then join the guided and self-guided tour.
Q6Can I join the morning guided tour and the afternoon guided tour on the same day?
We offer daily fixed tour schedule for transfer passengers, and December 31 is no exception. But passengers can join only one tour during each stopover.
Q7When will the guided night tour be available for booking?
The guided night tour is only available for group reservation. If you have such request, please send an email to the designated email address at email@example.com
Q8Is child safety seat available?
Child safety seats are not available for those who travel with young children during the guided tours. Infant or toddler will need to sit on the laps of an adult.
Q9Can I pay to join the guided and self-guided tours?
The guided and self-guided tours are free of charge and do not take paid-booking. Please refer to the eligibility requirements on the website.
Q10Are the itineraries of the self-guided tours applicable every day?
The itineraries of self-guided tours are for reference only. Passenger can choose a suitable itinerary according to their preference and needs. Please note the opening time of each attraction is different, we suggest that you make a double check on the attractions’ official websites before you travel.
Q11Can wheelchair users join the guided tours?
Yes, wheelchair users are welcome to join the guided tours. If you have such request, please send an email to the designated email address at firstname.lastname@example.org Please note, each wheelchair user is required to have a company during the tour.
